Settling in

We appreciate that it may be difficult to leave your child for the first time. Therefore, we highly recommend that you complete the Settling in Sessions process before the start date to enable yourself and your child to be familiar with the surroundings.

First settling session- Child visits nursery for 1 hour with parent/carer, introduced to child’s Key Person and ‘All about me’ information completed.

Second settling session- Child visits nursery and stays for 1 hour without parent/carer.

All children are individual and it may take different amounts of time to settle into the nursery environment completely.
